Problem
Toyota needed a digital experience that reflected the GR Supra’s performance-led character while remaining accessible, fast, and usable across devices. The challenge was to balance high visual impact with clarity and usability, ensuring the page appealed to enthusiasts without overwhelming users or compromising accessibility standards. Additionally, the landing page needed to stand out within a competitive performance car market, requiring a strong visual and content strategy informed by industry benchmarks.
Solution
I designed a mobile-first, fully responsive landing page that combined bold visual storytelling with a simplified user flow. Competitive analysis of performance car brands informed the layout, tone, and content hierarchy, ensuring the experience aligned with audience expectations. Accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.1) were applied throughout, including appropriate contrast ratios, scalable typography, and clear touch targets. Subtle micro-interactions were introduced to provide feedback and enhance engagement, while page structure and assets were optimised for performance and fast load times.
